The mornings still feel full. Sports schedules, errands, work, laundry… all of it.
But somewhere along the way, I stopped treating recovery like something I had to earn.
Now it’s part of the routine too.

Let’s Go! A SENIOR NIGHT lacrosse doubleheader this Friday night 5/1/26 at Pop Keeney. Be there to celebrate all the seniors!
Everything kicks off at 5:30pm with the ladies of @nsglax_storm and their game vs Bellingham. Let’s show these ladies some love and fill the stands!
At 8pm Bothell Lax will be playing district rival North Creek. Senior night activities for our 11 seniors will kick off at 7pm.
It will be a great night with our youth tailgate starting around 6pm. They will be present, electric and ready to show our seniors some love. Bothell 3/4 will be playing an inter squad scrimmage at halftime.

In addition to sleep, nutrition and hydration, physical recovery is an important part of a long lacrosse season. As a board and club we have been seeking a partner to help us introduce recovery to our high school players. Jason and his team at Longevity Loft of Bothell have been amazing. So glad to have them right in our community. Be sure to stop in or check them out online!
We just finished the 3rd week of cycling players through their 1-hour 10-person Bothell Lacrosse only group session. The players that have been through to date have experienced compression therapy, infrared sauna, cryotherapy and red light therapy.
Throughout the rest of the season all of our players will experience the different tools and ways to help them recover. Hopefully it is something they learn from and take forward. It’s our way of investing in them as they practice and play hard for us!
