MUSIC has been one of the key elements that allowed me to perform well over the years. I believe it is an underrated aspect of performance, especially on an event like the 100m. Finding your hype song and knowing the exact moment when you can start your piece probably gives you a non negligible boost of performance. I have found out that the crescendo build up to the climax of a song builds anticipation and can greatly enhance your power output on a distance like the 100m. But it is only one of the many aspects of high performance sports and obviously not something you can apply at a live competition, which is why it is so much harder to perform at your best at an official event (among many other things). It is at least worth trying and experimenting, I know I have surprised myself with unexpectedly strong performances listening to this exact song. 🔥 What is your experience with music? #rowing #concept2 #power #rowingmachine #power

30:00 TT - PB 🥳 Testing some longer distances to track my aerobic fitness progress. The plan now is to do 2 threshold rows every week (25-45min of intervals) and a long distance test every second week (5-6-10k, 30-60min etc).
