2:32:21 at the Chicago Marathon this year. Not my fastest time but I’m proud of the effort. After contending with a knee injury that sidetracked my training last month, I was just happy to be racing with my friends. Huge “Thank You” to everyone who came out to Chicago to support us and those cheering from home!
🙃 We flipped the script! ❤️ I brought MY brothers to Saint Nick U & got to experience being the other side of the set. 📚 Spoiler alert- it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 🏆🎄🔑 (And I like to think I’m still the queen of Christmas, even after these challenges! 😉)

In 2002, US Boomerang Team member Logan Broadbent was competing for the first time at a World Cup at only 14 years old. Here is what he remembers:
„My favorite memory from the 2002 Kiel was our team being in third after the first day of competition. We were really pumped. I remember someone throwing a watermelon off the balcony and Nobu @iizukanobuyuki (from Japan) head-butting it, causing it to explode.“

Proud to announce I won the 2024 World Boomerang Championship!🏆
The World Cup is held every 2 years. After finishing 2nd in 2016, 2nd in 2018, a Covid cancellation in 2020, and 3rd in 2022, this win was a huge honor (and relief)!
I’ve worked my entire life to be the best in the world and I’ve learned nothing is accomplished alone. I owe a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who has supported me since I started throwing boomerangs at age 2 😅… my family, friends, teammates, fellow competitors, coaches/mentors, and fans all own a piece of this title.
Boomerangs may not be the biggest or most popular sport in the world, but it’s a fast-growing sport comprised of world-class athletes. Those who know me best know the boomerang sport and community have comprised a significant part of my life. I’m looking forward to continuing to share the sport I love with the world and inspire the next generation of world champions!

Quick getaway to Miami to visit the sibs. I randomly decided to sign up for the Fort Lauderdale A1A half marathon on a whim and I pulled off the win (1st out of 3,355)!
The race was a bit long and I spent most of the second half dodging oncoming runners as the pace cars/bikes couldn’t part the crowds on the out-and-back course. I loved the challenge and appreciate all of the support I received from other athletes and spectators!
Only 7.5 weeks away from the @bostonmarathon and 5 months away from the World Boomerang Championships. So far I’m right where I need to be.🪃

The Chicago Marathon did not disappoint! I ran a personal best 2:28:05 🤯 (5:39/mi)!
@mzegarelli@javxc13 and I somehow managed to qualify for the American Development Program and started at the front with the elites! We had the absolute honor of running most of the race alongside @des_linden on her way to setting the masters world record! We also had the pleasure of getting absolutely smoked by @kelvinkiptumcheruiyot on his way to the marathon world record!
Huge congrats to my @clevelanddistancecollective teammates @clevelandrunner89@dawsoncy@tylervit and Brett on their performances!
I’m so thankful to have the absolute best friends and support crew in the world! Thank you to those who came to Chicago and seemed to be cheering from every corner!

This comfort zone challenge series started as a way to re-motivate myself with my content. To feel closer to who I am at the core of what I create.
