Introducing @yuutttaaaaszk Under-the-radar Japanese selector, Yuta Suzuki has built a reputation with mixes from Faciendo and Outsiders, which is well-known platform among the vinyl diggers community. Underground obscure tracks selected from his mature, eclectic collection possess a certain character, with a slightly off-kilter thread running through. Operating at the intersection of deeper techno, electronica, house and electro, Ste Roberts intricate and beguiling sounds have been fascinating dancers for over two decades now. A London and Rinse FM resident for over a decade, he first cut his teeth in the fertile grounds of Leeds in a period when it was experiencing somewhat of a clubbing renaissance. Working behind the counter in Tribe Records, his job allowed him upfront access to the cutting edge of house and techno and he soon made a name for himself as a selector. With a growing reputation as a “DJ’s DJ”, he became involved in heading up Hypercolour and Glass Table imprints before turning his hand to production. Setting up his own labels Private Parts and STEDIT to give himself no-compromise homes for his production output amongst others, gaining the support of many an influential DJ in the process, along with his releases on Holding Hands, One Eye Witness & Alien Communications. As the light begins to creep back we return from a winter break with a special edition of Local Moves. For the first time we will be bringing our moves to the audiophile heaven that is Little Portland street. Powered by an unmatched Martion Audio sound system. Our maiden voyage from home will host our first international guest. A format we will be continuing as Local Moves Presents. In this instance @yuutttaaaaszk will be making his debut at the club, hailing from Japan Yutas sound is yet to make its mark on London Dancefloors and we are excited to be one of the first to host him in our hometown. Announcing our newest Resident @rolo.rowe ❤️‍🔥 After building friendship over the past years and having been a regular at our gatherings, we welcome Patrick into the fold with excitement. A dynamic turntablist we know you will enjoy. Gather as we delve into his debut at @friendsofthelion and an early birthday celebration for him too 🎈 Born and raised in London, Patrick’s musical journey is rooted in its extensive selection of record shops. Having spent the best part of five years working in some of the city’s most respected shops (currently: @phonicarecords + @hiddensounds_london , formerly @vinylpimp + @shaksstaxofwax ), what he doesn’t know about flipping records likely isn’t worth knowing. During this time he has developed an expansive knowledge which extends far beyond that of just dance music, deep into the realms of krautrock, post-punk, leftfield disco and dub. Highly influenced by the early-mid 90s ambient techno and chillout scenes in the UK, as well as the emergence of psychedelic dance music during this time, Patrick explores the space between club and home-listening through a blend of tripped out techno and psychedelic trance. Introducing our next guest @_richardgregory_ 🪄 Rich’s eclectic music tastes draw on a lifetime’s obsession with electronic music. He started DJing over 10 years ago, playing at DIY spaces on the murky fringes of club culture. Recently, he’s been co-running SUB:SYTEM – a London-based collective that host warehouse and forest parties in the nether regions of the city. SUB:SYSTEM has earned a growing reputation among those interested in trance and the progressive end of the musical spectrum, bringing together local and international artists in a community-focused space. Outside of London, Rich has played across the UK, and further afield at locations in Europe. His sound merges the psychedelic and playful, exploring prog, acid, ebm and techno, refracted through a lifelong passion for house music. Ticket link in bio 🍄

Constantly discovering and playing an incredible range of deep unearthed cuts with a signature no-nonsense charm and an ever-present glint of throbbing party energy, his expert flow of everything from dubbed out progressive, muted techno and trippy breaks allow him to explore a special amorphous zone of club music seemingly inaccessible to any other DJ on the planet.
