“Dissolution” is a contemporary solo exploring the unraveling of desire, identity, and attachment in the wake of a breakup. Through raw, embodied movement, the piece confronts the decentering of men and, more broadly, the unlearning of heteronormative scripts that have shaped intimacy and self-worth. As gender and sexuality are reexamined, the body becomes a site of resistance and reclamation, moving toward a fuller, queerer sense of self.
