It’s been a few days since I received this award and I’m still elated, thankful, and grateful for this. To say the least, I was shocked to win and hear my name called for a third win in this category. I would not have this award without the support of Brooklyn - for all the bars letting me Gogo each weekend for you, run the parties alongside Janelle No. 5, and be truly the best version of myself.

Shoutout to Metropolitan Bar, the Janelle No. 5 presents family, and my Brooklyn community for allowing me to be me in these spaces and to continue to entertain you all, to foster the future greatness in nightlife, and letting the Dad in me come shine through.

I also want to point out that yes this was another look that I made for myself while being awarded. Inspired by nightlife past, movies that drew me into subcultures of nightlife, and music videos that were cinematic with nods to those in the spotlight!

I said yes to this project with a blind eye - unaware of how big this peice of art meant not just to the art world but to queer people all over the world.

When i started this journey back in February, I did not realize the impact of this piece and how big it actually was [when it premiered] and would still be in this day and age. Being apart of this project, as I gogoed on it for 5 minutes once each week, gave me perspective of the impact of my presence, the presence of others, and how we truly do live in our own worlds and how we should savor each person we love and enjoy so much more.

I am forever thankful to @hauskat.xo , @felixgonzaleztorres.foundation ,and @hauserwirth for including me every time I stepped into the space, became art on the platform, and left feeling like the only IT boy of the world.

Tis the night where Angel Lina comes alive and shares the stage with @lindseylmill and we get to live our Stevie fantasies out on stage for everyone to enjoy

Delayed but every first weekend of May is a favorite of mine because it’s the time when I can be fun and carefree with all who adore and love Stevie Nicks / Fleetwood Mac. I have a special place for this night and always will have a space for it in my heart.
