"The Savior of the Damned", digital painting (@procreate ), 2022

This one is very special to me, as it in a way reflects my inner self of the past months. "The Savior of the Damned" ist about reopening old scars and getting new ones, trying to overcome one of the hardest times of my life but ultimately choosing to heal.
Looking back at the painting from a viewers perspective, I feel a lot of different things. Its like the figure tries to pull me back into the painting with unclear intentions, but although the setting seems to be really dark, it kind of feels comforting in a strange way.
