Rope Ritual is a performance work by Gula Malacca, co-performed with Lizardbird, that reclaims intimacy as a site of power, care, and connection through the lens of kink and queerness.
A rope duet between two queer bodies of color, the work explores fluid power exchange using rope and movement as tools for attunement, trust, and negotiation. Situated within an experimental club setting, it disrupts expectations of disconnection by foregrounding presence and embodied care, revealing a quiet erotic power rooted in intimacy and belonging, collectively witnessed by the audience.

Tried to go shopping on ChatGPT for some cool everyday shoes only to realise it has terrible taste. These were the best shoes they were giving me and anytime I mentioned the word comfort they would immediately give me the most office lady shoes. Stylist jobs are still safe.

I’m looking for a job! I finished my website and CV and to celebrate I made some ai slop about job hunting. There was something quite soulless about the entire process of creating the scenes and vibe with chatGPT only to put it into Sora 2 and Google Veo 3 and it to come out completely different. The two videos have the exact same prompt.
I couldn’t tweak the videos after because I couldn’t stomach the water consumption on something so empty.
