They feature on an album of the same name produced by Jez and Pheobe. For my contribution I had some fun mixing my recordings as a piece of music. I'm interested in process related artifacts and it features audio about the logistics of arranging a collaborative performance. My thanks to Maryia Kamarova and @hye.young.sin , recordings made during both their workshops feature in the track. And to @jezrileyfrench , @pheobelaw for making it all happen. And here's some sketches and photos of the listeners. The sketches are from a lake listenign session. I was doing some macro listening with my ears whilst watching people micro listening (lake interpretations are included in the album). Expired (probably >50 years ) 120 Kodacolor 200 shot on my @lomography Diana F, which has been my favourite camera recently. Processed at @filmprocessing.co.uk and photographed at home. Played with a few different versions in darktable. It was the first roll I shot last year when I got the camera. Many reasons not to use this as the first roll but I wanted to. Couldn't resist the 3 minute life drawing class with @lilyholder and model @titaniaartmodel @londondrawinggroup on Sunday. I'm a quick pose fan and Titania had all the best poses. I realised I packed most of the drawings away before photographing, so here's just a few. I was using ArtGraf tailor shape, water soluble pigment in a block like a tailors chalk. Not drawn with them before and they're great. And blue and black chunky acrylic pens. The River Dee, Scotland. I started icm (intentional camera movement) with film a few years ago when I picked up film again. This one is from the Linn of Dee, taken on the murmurations 6 residency. A shallow spot where the colour of the river bed was picked up by the sunlight and its waters reflected the sky. I took 5 pictures of 'the same' scene, and this one I enjoy the most. They don't all work out. I found the old Jessops film in an old camera bag, I reckon it's about 20 years old. It's no longer made. All the images I took have a nostalgic look to them to me. It's more difficult without the feedback of a screen, but I enjoy the anticipation of whether there's something interesting waiting in that canister. #chobhamcommon, upside down pair. I got a bunch of film developed recently. I had forgotten I'd taken this upside down pair. Taken on #pentaxp30t with #ilforddelta3200. I wanted to see what the high ISO was like in good light. It's a different game with no way to preview the images and limited frames. I took one version of each frame. I corrected for light levels but they are a little different, though pleasingly pretty much aligned. Sometimes recording, sometimes not (intentionally or otherwise!). The soundtrack is a little Medley from things recorded (some of which are now a mystery as to what the sounds are). None of the images match recording locations. And a little warning there are a few sudden noises. Last afternoon at #murmuration2025 residency. @kaydee8888 @liz.e.thomas and I created some listening scores for the creaky churchyard gates. We chose to perform a graphic score and recorded it with omni and contact mics clipped to the gates while gathering background texture on mics placed at a distance. The cables were a bit of a challenge. The sound is an extract from the longer @kaydee8888 edit. The other 2 clips are recorded on an iPhone. Brilliant to be with people keen to experiment and play. #sound #fieldrecording
