The refurbished Romini goes on its first trip - to the South Downs. This tiny caravan was my mother’s and she went away in it a lot back in the day. Now it’s a bit of an heirloom. Had to get it back into condition. Excellent place for a gin and tonic or a beer!

"Stay very still, on your own, not talking to anybody... just listening and looking." Mike Challis's 'Still Solos' -- a participatory performance where the audience walks into a dark forest alone, finds a place to sit, and simply... disappears. Sit long enough and nature returns. Lizards. Foxes. Even adders. Today we're unearthing this moment from the @spill_festival archive 🎞️ Day 29/30 for the #StanDareToPost challenge. @stanforcreators When was the last time you sat in total silence? 👇

Last summer I went on a fantastic trip to the Cairngorms with Jez Riley French, Phoebe and 31 lovely people to listen and play with contact mics and hydrophones. We had a great time, made many friends and produced some wonderful work. An album of that work has been released and you can listen to it here on Bandcamp. Honoured to be part of this amazing experience. /album/m-m-re-n-6-sounding-objects

Wild sea at Dunwich today. Embarrassingly I didn’t have my windproof mic with me but the wind destroying the microphones seems apt given the force of the wind. #dunwich #eastcoast #suffolk
