The only thing stronger than hate is love — when we practice it together.
It’s how we show up for our communities.
Today, we’re announcing LOVE FREE — a national campaign rooted in connection, preparation, and collective action toward a future where our communities can live free and love free.
LOVE FREE brings people together in their neighborhoods and congregations — through local gatherings, shared learning, and coordinated civic action — to strengthen communities and defend democracy in real, tangible ways.
This work depends on people choosing to step in, build together, and take responsibility beyond outrage or online moments.

THE SUPREME COURT DID SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE SCROLL RIGHT PAST!
They didn't repeal the Voting Rights Act — repealing it would have been too obvious. So they hollowed it out quietly, ruling by ruling, until it can't protect you anymore.
Our communities are angry. Outraged. And ready. But outrage without understanding is exactly what they're counting on.
You deserve to know exactly what happened, what it means for your community,Swipe.
We made it through the first door.
AB 2599 — the Truth in Disclosure Act — just cleared the Assembly Judiciary Committee and the fight is far from over.
Shoutout to the Alliance for Reparations, Reconciliation & Truth (@reparationstruth ) for organizing this moment and leading the charge. LIVE FREE USA is proud to stand in this coalition.
Our team testified. Our community showed up. And California is listening.
The path to repair is not passive. It is built through action.
Stay locked in as we push this bill all the way to the Governor’s desk. Every vote matters. Every voice counts.
This one’s for the ancestors.
Love is repair — and repair requires action.
AB 2599: The Truth in Disclosure Act has passed the Judiciary Committee and is headed to Assembly Appropriations. That's movement. That's what showing up looks like.
From conversation to commitment. From awareness to action. We keep going because the path to repair is not passive — it's built by us, together.
Every step forward is a step toward justice, accountability, and a future that actually works for Black Californians. @reparationstruth
AB 2599 just passed the Judiciary Committee and we’re clear about what this moment demands:
We want the receipts.
For too long, the truth about corporate ties to slavery has been buried or ignored. AB 2599 changes that—requiring transparency, documentation, and public accountability.
This is what repair looks like.
We deserve to know the truth.

This is the room you need to be in. Bring your people.
If this California bill gets ratified, it’d force corporations to disclose if they ever profited off of enslavement: a major step towards repair.
To make freedom and equality real for all, we must keep pressuring our elected leaders everywhere to champion repair and make the 1% pay what they owe and return what they stole.
Some of us grew up like this. Family around the table. Elders dropping wisdom between bites. Real dialogue, no filter. For others, nobody ever made that space.
Sunday Dinner is the invitation either way.
We’re building something — gathering folks in churches, connecting congregations to the peacemakers and violence interruptors doing the work in our cities, and making sure the families we serve have a seat at the table.
This is where community norms get set. Where young people learn the power of breaking bread with their elders. Where neighbors meet the people next door for the first time.
Whether you’re coming back to something you know works or discovering it for the first time — pull up a chair.
Upcoming Sunday Dinners: Brooklyn, NY — April 8 Indianapolis — April 19 St. Louis — April 23 DMV (D.C.) — May 31 Oklahoma — June 21 Atlanta & California — Coming Soon
