I am so honored to announce that I am part of the 25-26 cohort of artist residents at Brew House arts.
Im really grateful to be enveloping myself in the Pittsburgh arts community, Ive been feeling very welcomed and celebrated here.
In this year long residency I will have the time and ample studio space to dive deeply in to my practice after my long hiatus. I have work just falling out of me, and Im deeply honored to be selected for this opportunity. 🩷
Thank you to everyone who got me to this point, in my artist practice and surviving my diagnosis. Im forever grateful for the ability and support to be able to move forward in my life past cancer.

I wrote notebooks full of poetry and journals during my time in treatment. When I was conscious, I was either reading or writing. It fell out of me because I could never quite find the right words for how it all felt.
Here is a short clip from my work where I am trying to marry my writing and my visual practice.

It was such an honor to do this full space installation. Including the install, I also performed a live reading of my journals I kept in treatment during the private opening.

From my opening at SPACE gallery for the Three Rivers Arts Festival Juried show. All of my friends showed up and gave me flowers and so many hugs. Being in this show was a beautiful welcome to living in PGH
