I’ve loved watching Jeri and Emily working in the space; lots of long looking, trying things out, and letting ideas evolve. You can come by tomorrow (Saturday 4/25) from 3-6pm to see what they’ve made and how the works talk to each other and the space.

When your practice is centered on a labor intensive intricate craft like hand beading how do you approach working with 1000 plus square feet? Kathryn came into (___) with specific materials and an idea about one piece - a beaded net (and some hand-made glass hooks) made in situ to stretch over the hearth AND also wanted to commit to more; to finding ways to work with the time she had, her hands, these materials, and the space.
