@kit1 in the studio with his breakfast show playing flavours across jazz, ju ju, afrobeat & disco & boogie. Kit’s joined by the collective @lads_djs , featuring chats about how to cook eggs & songs about love. Morning breakfast chat on the breakfast show 🍳🥚⏲❤️
Big day today! First time playing at Drumsheds for Fatboy Slim and even more importantly it’s also the first gig I’ve played where my family recognise an artist on the lineup 🥲☺️🙏🏻 @lads_djs@drumsheds@officialfatboyslim
Little LADS on a big bad @drumsheds lineup, for a sold out Fatboy Slim show next week 🥹 We're massive fans of Fatboy Slim (who isn't!), especially his early production under his Mighty Dub Katz and Pizzaman monikers which you've heard us play in our sets 🍕💕 We can't wait!
We'll be opening Room Z from 2-3pm, and we have one spare GL spot going. If you want to join us nice and early, profess your love to us in the comments today and we'll pick someone 💘
Honestly thank you so much 🥹❤️ We had the most special time. There were tears.
The biggest thank you to @lunanueva_ and @lostvillagefestival for having us
Proper round up post soon 🫶🧢
Good afternoon friends! Just a little 👋 to let you fine folks know that I’m back in The Library Lounge this evening in the esteemed company of the magnificent Liv Ayers✨
As most of you guys well know by now, I have been using my residency at The Standard to spotlight people who have worked hard behind the scenes to help create the thriving dance ecosystem we have today - and Liv is no exception!
Previously with Rhythm Sister and more recently at the Common Ground collective, Liv is one of a founding group of mentors and teachers who have dedicated the better part of the last decade helping increase access to the dance music for women, trans and non-binary artists through workshops, panels, talks and club nights.
A true testament to their work is the fact that their alumni currently make up a large portion of the new wave of breakout talent in the industry, while the collective themselves are going from strength to strength, playing a regular gig and festival circuit both domestically and abroad.
Whenever I’ve caught Liv playing, either solo or as part of the LADs supergroup alongside Ariane V and Dem (the electronic music industry’s answer to McBusted), it’s always been a very, very good time.
Liv has been doing it long enough to be considered a veteran DJ now, having played a vast array of sonics over the years and coming equipped with a pretty fabulously extensive collection of records, so I’m super excited to see what she gets up into the booth later. Come hang out if you’d like - I can promise there are far worse ways to spend a warm spring evening!
A 4hour long recording from our recent gig at @nighttalesldn for @originssound
We always love playing together, nice to share music, a boogie and our snacks. Will soon be at your local pub, @queensyardsummerparty@voices_radio bday party
