With the greatest honor, I co-produced and performed our 2nd Annual Spring Axis event outside of the Old Globe Theatre Plaza in Balboa Park on March 21st, 2026... To be given an opportunity to share our culture with the public, to work alongside my Indigenous community, to produce an event that highlights who we are, to remind people that we are still here, and that we are so proud to reclaim our Nation; well that is something I am super proud to say that I helped cultivate… This Kumeyaay Native gathering has been the first of its kind in Balboa Park, but many more to come! • This day is always the highlight of the year for me! I was so ecstatic to witness the growth of this year’s event. We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team of drummers, bird singers, dancers, musicians, storytellers, hosts, vendors, art’s & crafts team, photographers, videographers, and our volunteers.
