@merakifilmnyc asked me to put together this post. I’ve looked up to her—and so many of the women featured here—for over a decade, so it truly means a lot to be included among them.
For me, it was seeing the incredible
@lisasene operating steadicam that first made me believe someone my size could ever carry a rig. That moment planted a seed that eventually turned into a career.
I’ve been operating Steadicam since 2019 and Trinity since 2023, working across narrative, commercials, and music videos. I fell in love with the moving camera when I realized it offered the rare opportunity to collaborate with amazing people while also being right in the middle of the action once the camera rolls.
Outside of set life, you’ll usually find me weightlifting, practicing yoga, bouldering—or with my nose buried in a book.
