You are a gift. A light. A joy to be around. Your heart, your confidence, your humor, your discipline… it’s such an honor to watch you grow into exactly who you’re meant to be. And it’s an even greater honor to be your mom and dad.
You make us so so proud every day…not just for what you do, but for who you are.

My mother passed on May 10th…it was Mother’s Day…2004. So every few years when these dates collide again - I find myself spiraling. And today was no different - even 22 years later. She was 50…now I’m 50. It’s all weird. Letting the emotions move thru me. Grief, love, memories. The tears are proof of a love that runs deep. Sending love to all who overstand. 💕.
Spring Break 26’ 🌿:
As I’ve gotten older, I don’t run toward chaos… I run toward peace. This trip was exactly that. Seeing my kids come alive with curiosity, hiking and exploring the kind of beauty that you find in Zion National Park…that’s how I know I’m pouring into what truly matters in this season of my life ❤️. This year the pressure was real because my baby turned 13…so of course we had to celebrate properly. 🎉 13… how did that happen so fast?
Watching her smile and seeing her joy all night made every bit of the stress worth it.
And after only 5 years in LA, I’m so grateful she’s built a circle of friends who showed up and celebrated her with so much love.

The year was 2018. Maestro’s, LA.
Me. Carm. Asani. Shannon.
Connected through work. Friends in real life.
Our clients competed on the court. But off it, we held each other up. That sisterhood felt rare…and felt it was needed for so many more of us who know the challenges we face in the industry.
So we created space for it during All‑Star Weekend.
No strategy. No blueprint.
Just four women who wanted community.
And that’s how PlayMakeHer was born.
Eight years later, it’s grown into something bigger than us…a platform that uplifts the women shaping the future of sports,
and creates real mentorship and opportunity for the next in line.
We don’t have all the answers.
We’re still building this as we go.
But this weekend reminded us of one thing:
Do it anyway.

Our All‑Star clubbing era was behind us.
CP. D. Mel. They wanted something different…something intimate, celebratory, low‑key. A space for family and friends to slow down and actually see each other.
So Gentleman’s Supper Club was born. We later dropped the “Gentleman.”
Hello, women. 💁🏾♀️
And along the way, we’ve had some of the best nights of our lives.
Over the years…we’ve raised a glass to an All‑Star lineup of greatness:

Carmelo Anthony.
Chris Paul.
When I really think about it…
that’s dope as hell.
Not everyone gets moments like that.
