We don’t have an official release date yet but I’m excited to announce @matthew.erman and I are working on the next arc of WITCH BLOOD from @thevaultcomics . I’m going to be doing character designs for the next few months while Matt writes the script, and I love returning to this world so much. color study for me and @matthew.erman 's next comic. he just finished the script recently, and I've been doing sketches and studies and paintings for the past 6 months in my spare time from Mary Sue. I think we'll be launching some kind of patreon soon for this comic, as we work on it over the next year. so keep at eye out for that!
So thrilled to get this in the mail— I didn’t realize my cover was being used for this anthology collection of Jim Henson Presents! It looks so good I’m so proud I’ve been a Henson fan since childhood ❤️one of the coolest things about working in comics is the opportunity to draw characters you love. Definitely check this anthology out y’all there are so many great stories in here.
Okay I have been sick for the past month and I’m FINALLY feeling better, just in time for the winter doldrums to set in. But Mary Sue# 3 came out last week, here’s a spoiler-free peek if you haven’t grabbed it yet! I’m finishing up the inks on issue 5 currently, which is a blast because I’ve finally unshackled myself from the clutches of Adobe Photoshop after like 20 years, and CSP has been a dream! Def a learning curve but god it’s so nice to have so many great tools for comics specifically. I wonder if anyone will be able to see any difference between inks on 5 and the rest of the series?
Oh gosh yesterday got away from me but MARY SUE#2 is out now!!! Please pick it up, read it, love it, let me know what you think! I told @megfitz89 when I was working on this that I felt like a total fangirl reading each issue and trying to guess what would happen next/what was the source of the drama between Cassie and Bennett. I am so proud of the art in this series, and @dearbhlala colors are so so perfect for it, and @longtalljodie has been killing it on letters.

I had so much fun writing about the different AUs, a thing I genuinely enjoy reading. Lord of the Rings in modern AU? Sherlock Holmes in a fantasy AU? Dick Van Dyke in the Wild West AU? (Okay that last one is… even a little too weird for me, but I would try it!)
@lisasterle continues to knock it out of the park with empathetic and expressive art, @dearbhlala ‘s colors truly shine as we explore various AUs and @longtalljodie ‘s letters keep things flowing.
