The Love Letter Print! Created to celebrate the 25 years of @rodebjerofficial so far, and the women that have been an inspiration to @carinrodebjer throughout the years The print was created using a mix of collage, dressmaker’s tape and drawing and features Carin’s own handwriting in the hearts 🤍

My mother asked me to design a blanket, she then wove it for me. I wanted the ends to be completely different so you could fold it and just get the orange side or the purple side. I love it so much!

Research Lab CRAFT! Book launch during Stockholm Craft Week Thursday, Oct 2nd at Konst/ig Books 17.30–19.00 At 18.00, me and 3 of my classmates will hold a discussion of their research and writing process, moderated by Emma Kihl (PhD in Literature, Södertörn University; MFA, Royal Institute of Art) Now we warmly invite you to Konst/ig Books on October 2 to celebrate the release of our publication A Living Practice. Over the past year, we have approached artistic research not as a linear path toward a conclusion, but as an event in itself – a living practice. For us, research is a radical act: a way of thinking not only about materials, but also with them and through them. The publication traces our research process during our time at Konstfack and brings together our individual explorations, articulated through personal formats and methods. It encompasses encounters with faith and ritual that open new ways of relating to the textiles around us, an intimate portrait of the forest industry in Värmland, a road trip to a queer bog in Tornedalen, and a stitch-by-stitch unveiling of the darker chapters of US history through a quilt. It also documents the discovery of one’s creative practice through the abandoned remnants of other artists, the love of paper and the care embedded in wrapping and unwrapping, and reflections on what the verb “to create” means – figuratively, literally, and materially. The launch of A Living Practice is an opportunity to share our research and artistic practices, and to invite conversations about the importance of craft in research and in how we live and relate to the world. Throughout Craft Week 2025, the publication will be available in the store, accompanied by a selection of artworks connected to its contents. The event is free and open to the public.

For AW 25, we join forces with artist Lisa Sander to create an exclusive pattern where the heart of Dalarna meets the soul of Nashville. A fusion of Swedish folklore and bold modernity — celebrating craftsmanship, culture, and the joy, to Walk Carefully on Mother Nature 🤎

For the last year I have been exploring my own and other artists’ creative processes and choices, asking such questions as “What is a failure?” “How do you know what works and what doesn’t?” “How do you know when something is finished?” Perhaps unsurprisingly, the project became very introspective and the result rather eclectic. You are all very welcome to witness the fruits of my explorations at the exhibition which opens at Konstfack on 29 April! Thank you to all artists that donated art and time to my project! All tagged in slide 2 ❤️
