Whispering to my past self at the opening of Julian Rosefeldt’s retrospective at C/O gallery!! The photo is a still from the film installation ‘American Night’ which was made in 2009. Such a moving and nostalgic night with so many memories from so many beautiful projects over the years.
‘The Day I became a Cloud’ This is the only photo I took in Wuppertal because I was too distracted replacing someone in the piece and learning their 25 minutes of text. Such a challenge, terrifying and pleasureable in equal measure! Thank you Emanuele Soavi and Johannes Malfatti and all the company for trusting in me and believing I could do it! And thanks to Dulcie Smart for her coaching and support and helping me fill every sentence with a universe of images.

Lisa Densem und Laura Siegmund sind Tänzerinnen und Performerinnen. Sie haben mit Choreograph*innen wie Sasha Waltz, Laurent Chétouane, Sergiu Matis gearbeitet. Laura und Lisa haben eine spezielle Weise, ihr Inneres mit der Umgebung zu verbinden. Mit ihren Bewegungen verorten und orientieren sie sich im Raum, sie sind auf lebendige Weise »da«.
In ihrem Workshop teilen Laura und Lisa mit den Teilnehmenden ihr gemeinsames Interesse an der Sensibilität für Bewegungen, der Wahrnehmung, dem Spüren und den komplexen Beziehungen zwischen Innen und Außen.
Der Workshop findet auf Deutsch und Englisch statt. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Er richtet sich an alle, die sich im Alltag mehr Präsenz und Bewusstsein für ihren Körper wünschen. Um Anmeldung wird gebeten, die Teilnehmer*innenzahl ist begrenzt.

Lisa Densem and Laura Siegmund are dancers and performers. They have worked with choreographers such as Sasha Waltz, Laurent Chétouane and Sergiu Matis. Laura and Lisa have a special way of connecting their inner selves with their surroundings. With their movements, they locate and orient themselves in space, they are »there« in a lively way.
In their workshop, Laura and Lisa share with the participants their common interest in sensitivity to movement, perception, sensing and the complex relationships between inside and outside.
The workshop will be held in German and English. No previous knowledge is necessary. It is aimed at anyone who would like to be more present and aware of their body in everyday life. Registration is requested, the number of participants is limited
