Work In Progress Show! Harvest Harmony For my final year project, I have been inspired by farming, in particular the contrast between the natural crops and the manmade machinery. I have been exploring movement, textures and colours in my work. For colour, I have used the natural greens and beiges of the crops mixed with the bright reds, blues and yellows of farm machinery. Textures and movement have been captured through my weave techniques using double cloth floats, pleating, and Bedford cord. @gsatextiles26 @gsatextiles

I am delighted to announce that I have won a Scholarship Award for Excellence from The Weavers Company. It was an honour to travel to Saddlers’ House in London to present my portfolio of past and present woven textile projects. I am very much looking forward to the Awards Lunch in February, to meeting everyone again and the opportunity to showcase the progress of my current project. Thank you to the @weavers_clerk for this incredible opportunity and recognition. And thank you to @glasgowschoolart @gsatextiles and @elainebremner for your guidance and support.
