Harvest Harmony
For my final year project, I have been inspired by farming, in particular the contrast between the natural crops and the manmade machinery. I have been exploring movement, textures and colours in my work. For colour, I have used the natural greens and beiges of the crops mixed with the bright reds, blues and yellows of farm machinery. Textures and movement have been captured through my weave techniques using double cloth floats, pleating, and Bedford cord.
