Odes to the Allure of Shadows- A fashion project that confronts conventional notion of masculinity among men in Singapore. In a world that often defines masculinity by loudness and extroversion, this project explores the quieter, more nuanced expression of masculinity. This narrative unfolds through the perspective of a wallflower, an introvert grappling with mental struggles and upbringing within a conservative family. It depicts the journey of navigating one’s masculine identity in the face of entrenched societal norms and traditional beliefs within their environment, employing imagery and unconventional styling to convey its message.
