i had been eyeing this for years (five to be exact) and i finally bought it from a dear friend of mine this year.
modelled after the us navy life preserver, the original design had kapok inserts which allowed it to act like a float. this particular version from ccp features a denim fabric with overlock stitches. double zippers on the front and back for storage. the back one is surprisingly huge (it fits a macbook)
very practical and versatile, will be keeping this for a long long time.

i wish i remember when i got this, but i have worn this alot throughout the years.
used to be in a deeper shade of purple but the repeated wears and washes over time gave this a really nice hue. the tag on the collar is getting a little fucked, but still in a wearable state. hope to wear this for many more years to come 🤞🏻

i kinda knew i could never fight this itch of posting/sharing, so here i am 🙂
i was fortunate enough to be in paris earlier in jan25 and amidst a hectic week, i passed by thebrokenarm and was surprised to see this pair still for sale (it was sold out online). a very nice memorabilia from my first ever paris trip.

i wanted to share some news with you guys on a more personal note, and the best way that i could think of was by having me in front of the camera. i am not exactly familiar/comfortable with being in front of the camera, so cut me some slack on the quality of this video (this was the definitely the first take 🤓)
these few years have been extremely fruitful and rewarding for me. you will still see me around here afterwards, posting things that i find interesting.

levi’s red aw04 studded biker jacket
the levi’s red line is one of my all time favourite brand. we have showcased some other items from the brand before and this jacket is my current favourite 🤓 for some context:
levi’s red is an in-house premium line launched in 1999 by rikke korff. she was assigned to reinvent the classic levi’s motifs, redesign the various elements and inject an artisanal take into the classic 5-pocket.
this jacket in particular features a perfecto biker silhouette done in a lightweight denim fabric. studded rivets can be found throughout the entire piece, as well as distressed denim pull tabs around the zippers. there is also a zipper down the back of the jacket and right arm sleeve that was designed for ventilation.

we had a similar pair before in dark olive corduroy and it sold very quickly. i was lucky enough to source for a second one in a different fabric this time. this pair of trouser was made with a lightweight cotton, with hand-done cross stitches around the trousers and a hammer loop near the left thigh.
