I painted this mural in Oakland a few years ago, and it remains one of my favorites. The model for the mural is Carrot, my friends Daniel & Jessica’s daughter, who is a true warrior and a successful cancer fighter. Now, she has grown into a beautiful young lady! Through years of friendship and witnessing life unfold alongside them, creating art with these people I love has always filled me with joy and inspiration. This mural, titled GIVING, centers on the knowledge and warmth from one generation to the next. It captures how communities grow rooted and connected together—reminding us that tending to one another, rather than only taking for ourselves, is what makes life feel whole. 🌹 #linfeifeiartwork #muralart #publicart #artforthepeople
