Some frequently asked questions and answers while Mr. Funkmaster Fresh @mintukass carves up another glassy piece of paradise:
Ride time?
Up to 45 minutes
Charge time?
1 hour
Speed?
Up to 40 mph
Board sizes?
Shortboard: 6’3” × 21” × 6”, 66 L
Midlength: 6’9” × 24” × 6”, 88 L
Total weight?
70 lbs all together, but key to the board design is modularity of the battery, jet and board. Battery and jet fit into our LIND backpack and the board can be carried under one arm.
Is it loud?
Not really. It’s much quieter than a jet ski, for example. Shoot us a DM and we’ll send you a raw video.
How does it perform in waves?
Surprisingly well, even though it wasn’t our mission to takeover any lineup. It’s always been about making flatwater fun. That said, fun is fun and waves are fun so we’d love to explore them more.

Giant squid, Mexican Devil Rays, human vs. seagull territorial disputes, local gas siphoning tips, and malnourishment. These are just some of the things you can expect from Calvin Hoffmeyer’s and Ian Rinefort’s journey through Mexico on LIND Surfboards.
Calvin and Ian had never tried LIND boards before their adventure. Watching them come to master the boards, attempt to not break anything (which was unsuccessful) and survive on strictly Tecate and Chorizo gave us a great deal of satisfaction. We hope it does for you too.

It’s a beautiful thing to see the nooks and crannies of the world where LIND boards have been in just over one year. A huge thank you to @captncal and @ianjesr for being the first men to set foot in Mexico.
Hopefully not the last, cause it doesn’t look too bad down there.
