Going home tomorrow. Hesitated to stay longer but could not convince myself to do it. Many reasons. Won’t bore you with them. I did a good deal of « declinching » while I was here. I could employ the word « relaxing » but the other word suits my frame of mind right now. It has been almost a year since I started my blood pressure saga. Been some tough months for me. I have been pro-active in helping myself. I feel as though I have been to the borders of hell and back. Sorry to say that but ‘tis the truth. I will cut this saga story telling short. I ditched the treatments one after the other from those expert doctors. Didn’t work for me. The worst part is the doctors ditched me as well when I would not comply with what was Most convenient for them. I was not welcome to call and talk about it. Seems I was not trying hard enough….long enough. So, I sought other solutions. I have spent the last six months doing acupuncture twice a week. I drink an herbal concoction every morning and evening. I will now start to ween myself from the acuponcture. I think once or twice a month will suffice. I am getting my confidence back. That’s key. I am aware that I must trust myself to let go of the fear……I feel a bit of PTSD. I am also doing some therapy sessions for that. EMDR…. So now when I wake in the morning I don’t do yoga but I do « declinching ». Yea. That’s my own personal term. I say, Linda, declinch that jaw, Girl!!! Then I start declinching all the way down to my toes. I do this at odd times during the day as well. You know when you are feeling a tightening in your body and mind? Well DECLINCHING is my mode of operandi!!! You are more than welcome to join the « Declinching Club ». Try it!!! I also realise that when you have people in front of you who truly care, your heart heals as well. It hurts when your body betrays you. Last Day’s Outfit: 1) Everyone needs a chambray shirt!!! I wandering endlessly in the Medina of Marrakech. It is my favorite thing to do when I am here. The Medina is after all a Unesco World Heritage Site. There are historic palaces, mosquées and the souk or street markets if you want. There are endless sights to be seen. What I love discovering are those small passages that twist and turn and invariably lead me to yet another glimpse of how life was lived before in the heart of Marrakech….The Medina. I am always with my friend Fathia. Her company is a Treasure for my time spent here. Though she did admit to me yesterday that with my incessant wanderings she has discovered parts of the Medina she had never seen before. Yesterday found us in front of a dusty path where Fathia refused to go. I was mesmerized with what I saw at the end of that road. Just beyond the scaffolding if you look closely you too can see that window of several centuries ago. How beautiful is that latticed ironwork and sculpted stone. I try to imagine the families who lived there. Intriguing. Wandering Outfit of the Day: 1) Yellow cashmere cardigan. Named after me of all things 😂 The Linda in Size small. I managed 12,000 steps today. That’s already that!!! Birkenstocks are Fabulous for endless walking. Lovin’ Ya and Leavin’ Ya….. Just for now. ❌⭕️❌⭕️

I think this first picture set the tone for my day. I danced through it……..started with a walk through the wonderful organic garden here @parkhyatt_marrakech . Ran into that Lovely gardener whom I met last visit. Remember him? He again generously gathered another bouquet to insure I had a perfectly delicious evening herbal tea. His name is Mouniam and he has a beautiful smile and kindness written all over his face. He is so shy it was difficult getting his name. This garden is his priority and he is not interested in small talk. So I left him to work his magic in that garden of his. I know when to just move along!!! I like taking something back to my team, and this trip I have something specific in mind. My thoughts are an amulette of the Hand of Fatima. This is a piece of jewelry that helps protect the wearer against negative forces. I did not find what I want today, but I will tomorrow!!! I have a good friend here…..Fathia…..She was born and raised here and knows every inch of Marrakech. She accompanies me on my many searchs and translates when needed. You should know that most of the people here speak several languages including French and English. This desert city is teaming with visitors from all over the world, and the Morrocan people know how to welcome them with warmth and graciousness. Fathia showed me some new corners of the Medina that I had yet to see…..Lucky Lucky Me!!! Dress Mood for the Day: 1) Belgium linen dress « The India » named after my daughter @indiaweber in my boutique @crimson_cashmere She is a gold mine of inspiration for me. I love this delicate color. Reminds me of sea foam ( that sea water just when it breaks on the beach). You understand what I am thinking, right? 🧐😂🧐 2) Bandanna with Colors of sea algue!!! I definitely have a theme going on here today. I will be wearing this to the beach as a paréo this Summer. Probably paired with a fresh White over sized shirt. 3) Same old sandals as yesterday. I bought these butterscotch colored suede take on a Birkenstock @louisvuitton a few Seasons ago. Great investment!!! 4) Sunglasses @meyrowitz.paris I think I talk too much 😂😎😂 ❌⭕️❌⭕️

Yes. Marrakech. For so many reasons. The weather here is brilliant. Sunny and only Blue skies. Paris guaranteed me rain all week. Birds are singing in the garden oasis of my hotel @parkhyatt_marrakech I can see the stars at night….shining bright. I needed familiarity and forever friendly. I also have work to finish here with Jilali my master couturier who does beautiful hand Embroidery. We started a few pieces a few months ago. Will give you a glance soon. I am back for only a few days. Never long enough. The welcoming here is unrivaled. The Moroccan people are the kindest I have come across in my travels. My shop @crimson_cashmere has existed since 1984. I had the privilege of purchasing it in 2004. It was established by a lovely British lady who had started the shop with the sole idea of offering colorful cashmere products made exclusively from Scottish yarn. I have carrried forward her concept to this very day…..However I have added a few garments here and there to give us something to accessorize with our Pretty cashmere offerings. A few years back, I started a collaboration with an Italian gentleman whose name is Beppe. I happened upon his expertise in textiles while visiting him during Paris Fashion Week. Beppe @destinsurl and I have a good time creating special and exclusive Colors that coordinate with my own cashmere collection each season. This is definitely the best part of my job. Having the good fortune of working with talented professionals in the fashion world. Every Girl and Boy needs a pink cashmere sweater. Not kidding. Personal opinion but just think about the prettiness of it all!!! When a client in my shop @crimson_cashmere says pink is only for blondes, I just have no persuasive dialogue. I am a little taken a back. Cannot argue. This is when I Simply say « One must never convince oneself to purchase a piece of clothing « . I am forever adding another shade of pink to my own collection. Spring Summer Fall and Winter. Where others feel grey, navy or black is the basic way to go…..I say pink please…… Just find your shade of pink and go for it. You can thank me later. I am not exagerating when I say….I truly believe….it perks up the whole attitude of your wardrobe. Today was my pink day of the week: Always makes me feel like a Princess. I cross all of Paris in heavy traffic just for this Precious moment of sitting down to sip this Cup of pure magic. Yes. It is that good!!! Made with almond butter nonetheless. Guess who is off for a week of rest. Yep, I Gotta go. Gotta get out of the office so I can have a few moments by myself to gather my thoughts for the fall collection. Can you believe it!!! Already Time to start production for Fall 2026. I need to decide where though. Small matter. I do not want to wander far. Not in the mood. Easy would be St. Tropez or Marrakech. I know them both so well. And why not make this trip easy. Afterall, it is for rest and reflection and not for exploring the wilds of whatever. On the other hand I am in the mood for High Lighting my senses with something new so as to break Free of the mold. But bold I am not in this moment and Time. Yes, I aware that these are priviledged problems. So don’t yell at me, please. I am urging myself ….. Almost defying myself to break Free of the Old and bring in a new agenda. Musings include Lisbon and Comporta in Portugal. Madrid in Spain. Taormina in Sicily. And…. Totally random…..Cornwall in England. I think one could best describe me as all over the map and a bit indicisive!!! Any other ideas for something pretty and rest full? Just asking. Totally open to suggestions. Just do not send me to the Mountains!!! Not my element. You know that expression « Just when you’re making plans, life happens ». Well, don’t ya wish sometimes a plan or two could just pan out and life could cut you a break on the roller coaster ride of surprises? I have yet to master the control of my emotions when confronted with sudden changes coming from the opposite direction……Could involve Family, friends or work relationships ,and all those months of «  meditative controlled breathing techniques » just take to the highway in a hurry!!! That cool, calm and in control character I imagined myself to almost be? Nope. My heart starts beating at a too rapide rate and I loose control of control. This is when I go into the bathroom, close the door, look at myself in mirror and say, « What the hell are you doing » !!!!! I retake control of the breathing and remember LIFE JUST HAPPENED. Then I try to smile (if only at myself) and get back on my wanted road and give it another go. Never Give Up. That’s the name of life’s game. Never quit trying to get it right for you. Theme of the Day? Patched up with love and good intentions is my guess. I prefer To share my experiences, and I can and will admit To The fact that I have loved and lost more than once so far in my life. However, The point I want to make today Is I am romantic, and I wholeheartedly believe in love. I never give up on love. I Watch romantic comedies as if they were Personal documentaires. I am intrigued and thoroughly involved with The lives of The characters. I am The Best audience!!! I am there!!! The same way I Showroom up for my Own life. So To share what I might have learned about love……….Believe in yourself First and Foremost and add a huge dose of that love you have To give (on a daily basis) just for you. Rise To The challenges for yourself everyday, because They are going To show up. . Tough ones and less tough ones. This Is called LIFE and those challenges will always be there. So be prepared….. But all The while…..be believing…..be loving…..show up for yourself. Accept those challenges!!! Learn To look them in The eye. You do not have To give up on finding the love of your life …. You are it!!! So enjoy The Hell out of your own Personal love story. Write your own Personal romantic comedy. I just bought a journal from @suleikajaouad on Amazon. She made The perfect journal To write in. So, I write ….. I take notes ….. Yep…..I jot down a thought or two so I can remember To tell you!!! That’s what I wanted To say…..Moral of this story? Our Classic Cotton voile bandannas and paréos in collaboration with @destinsurl are lining our shelves with New Colors and our oldies but goodies. A Summer Must I say!!! I love how my shop looks right now…..Not easy to say…..but I think we did a great job today!!! Come and visit if you are in the area. I have a team that is most likely to put a smile on your face!!! When I first came to live in Paris, my thoughts were to stay maybe six months. It has now been 47 years. I arrived the day of my 30th birthday…… June 7, 1980. I can fully understand the old saying of « Just when you are making plans, life happens ». Well life just keeps happening when you plan Even just a day. Isn’t that exhilerating!!! Had a glorious GLIMMER today. Yea, I was kind of beating myself up a bit when looking in the mirror….when it hit me….. All of a sudden….I thought why am I wasting another day thinking about the me of yesterday. How Absurd really. Celebrate the face of you today. It should be that simple. Don’t over think it. It became so clear to me. So, Girls and Guys, Remember to be aware of those « worth their weight in gold » glimmers coming your way!!! You never know when the glimmer fairy is right in front of You.
