Welcome home Debbie Ann Panagakis, our little bumble Bee, born July 12, 2024 at 9:10am, 6lbs 12 oz💛 Bee is named after Peter’s Mom Debbie @debbiepanagakis and his maternal Grandmother Ann💛💛 She has been patiently waiting for us, as we have for her, for 5 years, our frozen little embryo since July 2019💛 After an 11 year journey, we have our girls. No more injection and medication schedules. No more waiting for results or waiting to take a full breath during an ultra sound. No more dreaming of growing our family. Now we live in this moment. Our uncertainty and sadness has been replaced with pure joy, new thoughts and new worries (currently on the list how to stop Aggeliki from jumping off the back of the couch or making sure Debbie is getting enough milk)💛 Li & Bee we love you beyond measure. Thank you for making us your parents. It is with guarded but overjoyed hearts we share with you that baby Panagaki will be arriving this May🧡 It’s been almost 9 years since we started to try to grow our family and after: -6 miscarriages -4 D&Cs -9 egg retrievals -11 surgeries -countless of blood draws, ultra sounds, injections, supplements, medications -3 MRIs -2 balloon inserts -3 cyst aspirations -5 transfers -5 years of IVF -5 years of acupuncture -grief therapy -1 amazing fertility coach @kristindillensnyder -and a whole lot in between… We are now two months away from meeting our baby🧡 I have thought of what I wanted to say on this post for so long but there are no words to fully explain or understand what this journey has meant for Peter and I🧡 We’ve been through hell&back so many times, we’ve lost a little bit of ourselves along the way, we’ve changed, we were broken&broke down more times than I can remember but everyday we pushed through, we wished, we hoped, we prayed & most of all we loved each other through it all🧡 These photos represent all the injections we did for just this transfer. Not the previous 4 or all the injections for the 9 egg retrievals, just for this round. If you find yourself not knowing what some of the things listed above are or what they mean, consider yourself lucky🧡 To anyone reading this&still waiting &hoping for their baby, know that the road may be difficult&you will need to find the strength within yourself to move on to the next steps, there is no road map, magic pill or right or wrong answers, only you know what those steps are but know that you are not alone 🧡 To our babies we never had a chance to meet earth side, we think about you all the time. Thank you all for the lovely wishes! As we continue to share photos from our 10th anniversary celebration, we thought we would share a bit more about us💙 What does Limani Mean? ⚓️ When it came time to name our company 10 years ago, I knew I wanted something to represent my mom and I⚓️ Limani is the Greek word for seaport. Angie @limanidesignsfloral grew up in the southern part of Greece about two miles away from a small seaport at Agrili. She would spend her summers there and our grandfather would fish there⚓️ Years later, when we lived in that part of Greece, my siblings and I learned to swim in that very same port and have spent countless summer vacations in that part of Greece since then. It’s our family’s mutual love for the limani and the precious memories made by the sea that inspired the name⚓️ If we could be anywhere in the world at any given moment it would be there⚓️ What did we set out to do all those years ago?⚓️ We wanted to bring newness, something different to our classic celebrations, accessories and overall traditional ideas⚓️ We knew if we felt this way, there must be others like us 😉 and there were!⚓️ 10 years worth of clients that wanted something special and unique and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it all⚓️ ⚓️First and last photo by @ashleelcole ⚓️ Second photo, 10 years ago after setting up my bridal shower, Limani wasn’t even an idea in our minds at this time but seeing how happy we were after putting everything together was a great indicator of how events make us feel💙 ⚓️Third photo, Angie and I setting up a wedding @rm1520 back in 2012. Our bride found us through Google and we couldn’t be more excited to work with such great vendors like @tablescapeschgo @bryanmillerphoto 💙 ⚓️ Fourth photo, we rented out a space for a while but ultimately, It was easier and a better decision to continue working from our own studio at home. We have plans for the future and can’t wait to see what’s to come💙 ⚓️A lot has changed over the past 10 years but our core values and ideas haven’t. Not just funeral flowers…little gardens created to honor a beautiful life🤍 Soft pink blooms for her love of pink, Bells of Ireland and lush greenery as a quiet nod to her Irish roots, and hydrangeas that almost felt like little four-leaf clovers tucked throughout. Every flower seemed to fall into place exactly where it was meant to be🤍 The room was filled with so much love, remembrance and tenderness for a woman so deeply cherished. We are truly grateful we could play a small part in honoring her🤍 A reminder that flowers don’t only celebrate beginnings and milestones… sometimes they gently help tell the story of a life that was deeply loved🤍 xoxo, Team Limani

Mother’s Day 💐 Two days late, which feels fitting… because motherhood for me has never looked perfectly timed or perfectly put together. It’s looked like praying, waiting, hoping, grieving, healing and finally… living the very life I wished for💞 It took us nine years to get to Aggeliki… and two more to get to our Bee💞 Infertility consumed so many holidays, birthdays, milestones, and ordinary days in between. Every candle I blew out, every holiday wish, every quiet prayer was for the same thing: to become a mom💞 And now, every holiday, every birthday, every ordinary little day… I get to live the wish I once cried for💞 I don’t take a single moment lightly💞 IVF helped me become a mom. That journey changed me forever. There are pieces of that season that never fully leave you.
