The Associated Press reports that one polar vortex event cost the U.S. economy approximately $5 billion in lost work and damage.
🥶A polar vortex is a huge ring of very cold air high above the North Pole that usually stays locked up in the Arctic. Sometimes it weakens and dips south, bringing extreme cold, snow, and ice to places unprepared for it.
📍Warming in the Arctic from climate change makes the jet stream wobble more, helping these cold blasts move south more often.
💰Polar vortexes are costing tax-payers billions of dollars and ☠️killing people.
🛢️Meanwhile, as reported by The Guardian, the fossil fuel corporations causing this, collectively made 2.8 billion PER DAY for 50 years straight.

Ese teaches improv at Blind Tiger and you can catch her at Seasoned, an improv show she co-produces and stars in with Ronald Dario and Kevin Vidal on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Little Mountain Gallery at 7pm.
Ese brings a grounded perspective and an attention to detail to any character she plays and is a joy to watch. We are lucky to have her back on The AITAH Game for a second appearance.
