I’ve been focused for the past several years on the importance of a photographer’s directorial skills to talent performance and here are three ways I’ve expressed this:
1. Musical slide shows (there’s a name for this) to demonstrate how talent flows organically in response to directorial shifts or fugues.
2. Cowitness footage to demonstrate successes or mistakes in directorial language and delivery. I mess up a lot, so being able to run back the play with audio helps significantly.
3. No retouching. Minimal cherry-picking. This is subject to project delivery expectations.

Unretouched, as intended.
