A week into the birth portal 🌀 riding the most intense and expansive psychedelic wave of my life. The cliches are true, and I really never knew there was a level of love like this one. I’ve been waiting to meet him my entire life. Welcoming earth side the completion of my beautiful family ~ 💙 Jimmy Frank Grieco 🌀 Named after his grandfathers. Born on Easter Sunday O4/05/26 at 2:48 pm 7 lbs 14 oz Came in fast and furious in true Aries (Scorp / Leo) fashion! Johnny and I couldn’t be more over the moon. I am in awe of my body, and the absolute trip it is to be a mother. There are no words. Every new day is now the best day of my life.

She’s officially done teaching at 38 weeks. Wow, here’s a progression of my pregnancy from week 5 to week 38 at @thevalleypilates . I’m laughing thinking I looked pregnant in the first few photos. Pilates and the relationships I built through it, especially with my own body, has been incredible and a complete balm through my pregnancy. I’m also super proud I did an entire reformer training and all my practice hours while pregnant, including endless commuting to Toronto, while also working full time and running my own business. Bodies are incredible. Looking forward to rediscovering teaching and moving on the other side of birth.

Officially half way cooked. Hard launching this Aries boy to be. We couldn’t be more excited to expand our family early spring 2026. It’s been a long time comin’ & we can’t wait to meet him. Sending big love to anyone on the ttc journey, pregnancy journey and mothering journey - it’s truly no joke ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Classes & appointment are still in soft-launch mode as we settle into our new grove at the clubhouse, but in the meantime, we’re excited to share that online registration is live. Last week was SO FUN !! Hearing from a lot of the ladies who attended Pilates class say damn, we needed that… How good it feels to put our bodies in positions (that don’t over exert) to strengthen & stretch !! Mel is such an incredibly intuitive, comforting and all around good-time teacher. I promise you’ll love her approach to mat pilates, and your muscles will thank you. Wednesday evenings fill up fast. Starting May 7th Melanie of @rosewoodandsilver will be leading us through a pilates mat class every Wednesday evening at 7pm and Friday mornings at 7:30 am

Expect a playful, body-led practice that strengthens from the core outward—while inviting flow, release, and intuitive expression. 

What to expect: * A dynamic blend of Pilates, dance, and fluid mat work
 * A focus on alignment, core activation, mobility & stability
 * Space to explore movement with grace and curiosity

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the spring season corresponds with the wood element, which is connected to our duo organ system of the liver + gallbladder. While these principles are complex, simple + practical applications exist. Introducing: the lazy herbalist tea infusion! Simply select your herbs that are supportive for spring, cover with water and drink! The more this becomes a routine, the more fun, inventive and creative you can get. I really love using herbs as the base of my smoothies instead of water or milk to give them a natural boost without spending zillions of dollars on questionable powders and supplements. TIPS: Start small! Experimenting with singular herbs can be a fun way to get to know each one, especially if you’re newer to incorporating herbs or if you have a sensitive constitution. Be mindful of herb forms! 2-4 tablespoons of one form (ex. Leafy vs. rooty vs. powdered) can vary greatly from one another. Aim for about an inch of plant material to balance your tea blend. Got q’s?
