Whew, itās been a while!!
Amongst the chaos and darkness looming this year there is beautiful light to be seen. Not sure how you all celebrated but I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and realize the blessings that we have each and every day.
Here are a couple of beautiful sunrise photos from Christmas morning trying out my new lens. The first photo is of The Citadel and the second is of Mt. Silverthorne. You really canāt beat the rays of color descending on cold winter mornings on mountain tops.

@winterparkresort provided some great skiing with the limited snowpack. Here are some of our favorite photos!
Unfortunately the cold temperatures required @usaskimo to not be able to sanction the race. @ismf_skimo rules prevent racing when the windchill is -20Ā°C = -4Ā°F. The temperature on the high point got up to -3Ā° but was very windy ā-25Ā° with windchill or colder, all dayš„¶š„¶. Windchill for the last racer across the finish line was -4.5Ā° ā¦.
I totally support the decision of the referees and appreciate being allowed to continue as an unsanctioned āeventā in lieu of cancellation.

Here it is! Iād like to introduce Summit Social Collective, for you our local community of athletes and our local businesses. SSC provides fun social activities for cyclists, runners, and any other sports in the outdoors. You will have opportunities to connect with our local businesses through meetups, and events, all while the local business participating gives back to those who show up. As time goes on we will have different hosts and different adventures. Follow along and come join us.
Itās been a great summer of Mtn Bike races thanks to @axissportsmedicine getting my knee and shoulder back to their full potential. Iām impressed with how short a time it took to come back from an injury with their help.

This year I had the opportunity to learn and coach a sport I had never heard of and become the teams personal photographer. It was a good overall first year with one of my high jumpers taking 4th at State!
