📸 Hello photographers! After a slight date change, Light Talk returns next Thursday evening 6:30pm at High Note in Northcote. Light Talk is a relaxed, conversation-led community space for photographers to share their work, exchange ideas, grow their practices, and connect through photography. For our second session, we welcome Ying Ang @yingang as this month’s special guest. With a storied career as a photographer, author, curator, and educator - a true jill of all trades - Ying’s acclaimed photo work tackles political and social issues through a personal lens. With several award-winning photobooks under their belt, spanning topics such as ecofeminism, matrescence, and growing up in the Gold Coast, Ying is revered as one of the country’s leading visual storytellers and we are beyond stoked to have them join us. :) 🗓 Thursday 14th May 6:30-8:30pm 📍 Space 2, @highnote_____ — Northcote 🎟 Free entry We also encourage anyone that would like to bring work to show to please get in touch! Whether it’s a new or old photo project, a show, book, or work in process, we would love to share it. It can be physical prints or a digital file to be presented on the projector. Thank you to everyone who came along to the first Light Talk last week! It was a wonderful turn out and discussion, and a big thank you to @k_koenning for generously sharing her practice with us.
