✅ Women are not just participants in the recycling value chain they are leaders, innovators, and drivers of real impact
♻️ From collection and sorting to aggregation and processing, women play a critical role in building a cleaner and more inclusive circular economy. When we empower women in waste management, we strengthen livelihoods, families, and entire communities.
Through its commitment to Extended Producer Responsibility, @petprotz continues to support inclusive recycling systems by working with partners and contracted recyclers such as @libegreeninnovation creating opportunities, improving working conditions, and promoting sustainable income generation for women across the value chain.
💚 Because sustainability is stronger when women are fully engaged.

So… who would have thought that the same plastic bottle you threw away yesterday is now working a 9–5 job in a wastewater treatment plant? 😄♻️
At Libe Green Innovation, we’ve officially promoted waste plastics from “environmental problem” to “water treatment technician.”
Instead of floating in drains and blocking rivers, these bottles are now cut into stringed forms and used as bio-media inside wastewater treatment systems. Translation? They sit inside tanks, host good bacteria, and help clean dirty water. Yes — bacteria are now renting space in old soda bottles. Talk about circular economy real estate!
From:
🚫 Blocking drainage systems
🚫 Polluting oceans
🚫 Annoying recyclers with PVC labels
To:
✅ Supporting biofilm growth
✅ Improving water filtration efficiency
✅ Reducing treatment plant costs
✅ Saving the environment
This is what we call a career transformation.
Waste plastic: “I used to choke rivers.”
Also waste plastic: “Now I purify them.”
Moral of the story?
There is no such thing as waste — only materials waiting for a better job description.
