THE BODY DOES NOT EXPLAIN ITSELF the exhibition unfolds like a series of encounters — each figure confronting the viewer with a different intensity: quiet, theatrical, brutal, fragile. Together they suggest that the body is not stable ground, but shifting terrain — shaped continuously by perception, history, and desire. The result is not a statement, but a condition. A room full of bodies trying to stay intact. opens tomorrow at @nicodimgallery Los Angeles Alongside to @angelesagrela / @studio_junecanedodesouza / @aemenededeen / Stanley Edmondson/ Liang Fu / @igorhosnedl / @larrymadrigal / @mattioli.marta / @teresa.murta / @pitindaniel / Nicolas samorì Invocation 110x160cm pigment, oil on canvas 2026 Photo by @jiayundeng_photo special thanks to @titi_m.cerina for modeling

Polyphonic Views Funkhaus, Berlin (DE) @funkhaus_berlin 12.09.2025-05.10.2025 Curated by Victor Auberjonois and Konrad Biedenkopf @passage_art @victor_auberjonois @ko.biko Opening 12.09.2025, 6 pm Polyphonic Views, explores the abstract potential of performance in the absence of a physical act. The exhibition brings together 36 artists, each presented through a unique installation, forming a parcours of immersive encounters across the brutalist expanse of the Shedhalle at Funkhaus Berlin. The exhibition is part of this year’s Spatial Festival, a pioneering celebration of the Spatial Arts that treats space itself as a medium, using sound as the gateway to immersive, collective experience, with performances, installations, and technologies that dissolve the boundaries between audience and artwork.

We are so thrilled to participate in the Frieze Seoul 2025 @friezeofficial in Focus sector, with the solo presentation of 𝗙𝗨 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴! Come to meet 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 in our 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝟳!✨💫 FU Liang A Quiet Collapse, 2025 Oil and mineral pigment on canvas  200 × 230 cm Drawing from Fu Liang's subaquatic experiences during his Mallorca residency, A Quiet Collapse presents a disorienting ascent from the sea viewed from a vertiginous aerial perspective looking down upon the ocean's surface. Only this vast expanse is rendered not just as water but as a boundless, star-flecked cosmos, evoking the artist’s alchemical fascination with the universe. Merging aquatic currents and celestial nebulae using a dark, shimmering palette and swirling brushstrokes, the canvas appears as a boundary that feels like a thin, vibrating membrane between two worlds of mystery.  Breaking this astral sea is an elusive face in the precise moment of eruption, mouth agape in a silent, desperate gasp for air. The image captures a primal fear of drowning, yet reframes it as a vital, almost violent, act of life—a rebirth into the atmosphere. It is a single gesture loaded with immense psychic weight, a site where the physical need converges with a metaphysical cry into the void, challenging the line between a bodily reflex and a spiritual utterance toward the vast, unfathomable space. In this piece, the star-filled sea suggests not just a struggle against water, but a confrontation with the very fabric of a sentient, alien universe, only to be met with a reflection of our own deepest, constantly surging feelings of existence and fragility. On the occasion of FU Liang’s Birthday @liang_f , we are excited to announce our participation in Frieze Seoul 2025 in the Focus sector, presenting the solo of Paris-based Chinese artist FU Liang (b.1993), ”After Solaris“, with the new series of works that further develop Fu‘s ideas during his residency at La Residencia in Mallorca. Fu has long engaged with the bodily, cultural, and psychological dimensions of diasporic experience, seeking to unravel the complex entanglement between self and environment. Happy Birthday Liangliang! 🎂 𝗙𝗨 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴: 𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 | 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝟳 September 3 - 6, 2025 COEX Convention and Exhibition Center 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea FU Liang
