· ZHENG Zhilin 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦,2026 Acrylic and marker on canvas 61 × 120 cm @is_eliene In a horizontally extended cinematic frame, calla lilies spread fluidly and are held within the figure’s embrace. The exaggerated, contorted body and the continuously extending plant forms pull against one another, generating a sustained internal movement. Emotion does not register through facial expression, but instead surges from the depths of the background. Rendered in acrylic, the work features a slab with a plaster-like surface, and the real and the fantastical interlace. The work is also a concentrated exploration of green within the artist’s practice, condensing into a vigorous vitality. · ZHENG Zhilin Beneath Her Gaze, 2026 Acrylic on canvas 80 × 60 cm Beneath Her Gaze pictures a girl lying on a red rooftop, facing away from another figure barely visible on the opposite side and looking off beyond the edge of the painting. Could her glance suggest aversion, boredom, or simply at ease in the moment? The painting offers no clear answer. What it does convey instead is a strong sense of “being there”. In each of these scenes of brief pauses, Zheng’s paintings seem to provide an affirmation of existence itself – an articulation of our tots immersion in the present. Opening tomorrow! ZHENG Zhilin’s solo exhibition 𝙏𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨. We look forward to sharing this new chapter of the artist’s practice with you. 🌂🫆🎬💡💚 ZHENG Zhilin Petrichor, 2026 Acrylic on canvas 180 × 198 cm Where the undulating rhythms, theatrical lighting and lissome, billowing bodies of Zheng’s earlier paintings may evoke spotlit scenes on stage, the works in Ten Concrete Moments unfold like extended long takes from a film lingering on the subtleties of embodied experiences. At the centre of the exhibition is the nearly two-metre Petrichor, in which the silhouettes of the variously poised figures recall the shape of Henri Matisse’s figural papercuts. Echoing the olfactory cue experience by its title, the figures, thought quiet and nearly motionless, seem nevertheless alert to their corporeal senses: every inch of their skin and muscle appears attuned to the fleeting sensations from the surroundings, as if relishing the elusive world enveloping thema 𝗭𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗚 𝗭𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻: 𝙏𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 April 11 - May 30, 2026 Please email [email protected] for more information or to request a preview. @is_eliene @linseedprojects #LINSEED #LINSEEDprojects #zhengzhilin

LINSEED is thrilled to present “𝙏𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨”, the third solo exhibition by ZHENG Zhilin (b. 1991, China) with the gallery. The exhibition brings together a new group of paintings on canvas and paper that explore the quiet tension of time suspended between stillness and movement. It opens on April 11, 2026 and runs through 30 May. Where the undulating rhythms, theatrical lighting and lissome, billowing bodies of Zheng’s earlier paintings may remind one of spotlit scenes on stage, the works in 𝙏𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 unfold like extended long takes from a film lingering on the subtlety of bodily experiences. 𝗭𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗚 𝗭𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻: 𝙏𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 April 11 - May 30, 2026 ZHENG Zhilin was born in 1991 in Guangdong, China, and currently lives and works in Guangzhou. She graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, where she received her BFA in 2014 and MFA in Painting in 2017. Fascinated with distorted and deviated perspectives, Zheng’s work enthralls the viewer with a vivid tableau unfolded by the strong tension between the imaginative space and eccentric body. While preoccupied with an alternative expression, oscillating between solidity and fluidity, of the power in the self-sustained body, her painting presents an intricate interplay between the eyes and the object. Through her subtle rendering of light and the omnipresent wandering eyes, Zheng’s work traverses between the eternal and the ephemeral, exploring the individual’s relationship with its surroundings. Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 is opening tomorrow! We look forward to seeing you at booth 1C33 with 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗜𝗨 (b.1999, China)’s solo presentation!🍃🪁🐍🐝🕸️🦎 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝗖𝟯𝟯 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗜𝗨 | 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡, 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 劉蘇 | 哎呦,哎呦 March 25-29, 2026 The booth features an “East Asian Garden” constructed from silk, with a hollow, self-supporting structure. Drawing on his background in fashion, textiles, and East Asian painting, Liu harmonizes Gongbi (fine-brush) techniques with Western mounting and cross-stitch, developing a highly distinctive conceptual language. His work engages with the paradoxes of globalization and the diasporic experience, where the borrowing and layering of cross-cultural symbols evolve into a process of de-identification. The narrative lingers between the fluidity of belonging and the ongoing negotiation between “absence” and “visibility”. Can art predict a disaster? 😵‍💫 Newcastle-based artist Kara Chin (@KaraChin ) explores climate change through her surreal sculptures. Her four-part ceramic work ‘Spiralling’ depicts a swirling bowl of soup that appears to be spinning out of control – which, for Chin, echoes the unfolding climate crisis of today. Kara Chin, Spiralling, 2023 © Kara Chin [Video ID: a man wearing glasses and a white shirt with black jacket presents to camera. Four images of ceramic artworks appear on screen; in the first one, a blue and white patterned bowl of soup sits on a blue placemat, surrounded by a spoon, napkins, a glass of something yellow, another smaller bowl of soup and more food. In the second one is a close-up of the placemat and the bowl of soup, taken as if shot directly from above; in the third, we’re even closer to the patterned bowl and the red spirals within the soup; in the final image, we can’t see anything but the red and white spirals]

Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 is opening in a week! We look forward to seeing you with Antone LIU (b.1999, China)’s solo presentation! 🎋🐝 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝗖𝟯𝟯 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗜𝗨 | 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡, 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 March 25-29, 2026 HKCEC, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong In his pursuit of monumental quietude, Antone Liu orchestrates a paradox. Between soft and rigid, light and weight, transplant and harvest, he compels traditional materials to abandon their usual forms and functions. These intentions are consolidated by a precise hollowness, creating a home for his ghosts to inhabit; for us to see a void and wonder what fills it. Liu’s evolving studio practice consolidates fashion, sculpture, and painting. Drawing upon Gongbi Painting, Western framing, and cross-stitching, he appropriates traditional techniques into a harmonious language that enables a pivot from using everyday objects to sculpting bespoke armatures. *Full press release by Augustine PAREDES @augustineparedes Antone LIU Fragile Beauty, 2026 Mineral pigment on silk 210 × d. 16.5 cm Antone LIU Bee’s knees, 2026 Mineral pigment on silk 54 × d. 14.5 cm Please email [email protected] for more information or to request a preview. @antone.liu @linseedprojects @artbasel #LINSEED #artbasel #artbaselhongkong #artbaselhongkong2026 #antoneliu
