The first edition of W:UM in 2026 will feature live performances by Anchoress and Soft as Snow, followed by DJ sets from Liam Segal and Mogura. @anchoress_____ @softassnow @liamsegal @mogura_taiji Anchoress is a project by Berlin-based artist Anna Lucia Nissen, Centered around a magnetic vocal delivery, crafts experimental pop dirges that merge drone atmospheres with theatrical intensity. On stage, she transforms concerts into visceral, performative experiences. Her work explores the fragility of human existence and the porous boundary between human and non-human life. Often compared to Anohni or Scott Walker, her androgynous vocals move effortlessly between force and tenderness, opening liminal spaces where the transcendent and incomprehensible coexist. Unbound by place or genre, mercurial duo Soft as Snow find freedom to intuitively reflect the disarray of human connection with their intricate, shape-shifting pop production. Their music is marked by a forward-thinking modernity; elements of ASMR and rough sampling, slippery rhythms and noisy textures. Their catalogue includes full-length releases on notable labels such as fabric’s imprint Houndstooth, Beacon Sound and Infinite Machine. Alongside their albums their output involves a series of noise-driven impro based work on progressive tape labels.

The next W:UM at @the_lodge_berlin features live performances by two experts of digital signal processing. Expect acoustic instruments pushed beyond their limits, warped horns, deep drones, and richly textured sonic landscapes, followed by a DJ set from @yuvib Felix-Florian Tödtloff works at the intersection of music, sound, chance, and urbanity. His artistic practice is characterized by an engagement with atmospheres, ruptures, and transitions, which he makes tangible through compositions, installations, and performative interventions. Musically, he operates in the experimental field between ambient, drone, and electroacoustic music. Barbara Gita speaks through a horn, cracked open and rewired through machines built for disobedience. she turns sacred objects into abstract signal, memory into pulse. Somewhere between sound art and parallel folklore.

WU:M returns to @the_lodge_berlin for a night of cutting-edge live performances, featuring computer music specialists Avraham Kober and Mogura, followed by DJ set from Haden and Sigi Om. Avraham Kober is a musician and sound artist mostly focusing on synthetic sound. Exploring pseudo-acoustic esthetics, he shapes synthetic signals with organic, dynamic, and behavioral qualities. His work suggest hypothetical instruments, habitats, and species. he released his debut album on April, 2024 via Dingn/Dents (South Korea) and has been performing with his solo project for the past years. he is also half of BK United with Amit Dagim. Mogura is a Berlin-based electronic musician and sound/light designer, exploring club abstraction, esoterica and irregular rhythms through different computer music techniques, he has released music on the labels Saga Domaine and Alapam. @koeravam @mogura_taiji @haden_hz @sigi_om

Through a Wi-Fi network, sound is distributed, spatialized and dynamically reshaped across devices, forming a continuously shifting composition. Blurring the boundary between audience, performer and technological infrastructure, the project explores how collective presence transforms an ephemeral, networked soundscape. Eyal Talmor - concept, coding, sound, performance @crippleclerk Mika Ben Amar - visuals, performance @100o111 Adir Darmon - system administration, coding @autobuza ( @wifi.audio ) Kinked (Live) Kinked is the co-owner of the experimental label Riforma, also known as the visual artist Lapo Sorride and singer/lyricist Dori Sorride. They curate the mix series Hypersigil, showcased on Radio.Syg.Ma. Lives in Berlin, and is a witness of the South Italian Disapora. Valeska (DJ) Valeska‘s sets are driven by an enthusiasm for ever-changing rhythmic structures, unheard sounds, vigorous stabs, and uneasy moods. On stage, Valeska seamlessly shifts from soft embraces to heavy hits. Her musical excursions have also been featured on cassettes for Leipzig’s Prepaid Records label and on radio programs for Retreat Radio, n10.as, Radio Alhara and Stegi Radio. Valeska is working as a curator within her event series swish which is taking place in various off spaces in Leipzig, as the co-founder of the series rewind and as part of Shell Tapes.
