Absolutely thrilled to share the journey of creating “Finding Balance,” a passion project that began between myself and Innes Graham. What started as a raw, no-holds-barred riding edit evolved into something truly special when 7mesh Industries Inc., Innes’ sponsor, joined the project. Their suggestion to weave a story into the film added a whole new dimension, and the result has exceeded my expectations.
I’m stoked with the positive reception our film has garnered! In our first week, we hit just shy of 15k views, and though the pace has slowed, we’re steadily climbing and have now reached an impressive 22k views. Seriously elite procrastination. Started this post two summers ago and now when I have plenty of other projects to be concentrating i find the time to share these stills with you all. These are from my project with @innesgrahambike with @7meshinc out.
When Tommy asked me to edit this film with pretty well free range to do what I do best, I jumped at the chance.
Black Magic Cloud on Davinci Resolve made it so easy for both Tommy and I to access the timeline 7,000km apart and collaborate to bring Poise to life.

If you’ve spent much time riding Golfie you’ll know that there aren’t that many jumps. It took me a couple of run-ins, but I did remember how to jump in the end.

Let me share a little secret with you all. This was the morning @joshcarlson__ , @nickarmstrongfilm and myself went to the top of the wrong mountain to shoot Shakedown for the Val Di Fassa EWS back in 2022. However, we owned our mistake and made the best of it capturing the most epic intro with a view of the whole course from the opposite side of the valley.
