Back in 2017 we shot a film for @canyon when Joe was riding for them. Since then we’ve discussed what to do next. This idea germinated around 2019-2020 but in a very broad concept of exploring imagination. It’s developed a lot since then, with our director @tommyawilkinson and Joe working closely together to fine tune the scenes and props. We can’t take credit for the beans….😂!

It highlights that in film, there are a ton of moving parts. All have value, but the concept and story always come first.

A big shout out must also go to @outdoorcapitaluk - we made them wait, but what a partner they’ve been. 🙌🏻

It’s been a diverse year here. Some ups, and a couple of major downs. But we keep on going, doing what we love with amazing people.
While we can’t show you the whole project yet, we’ve recently finished up a wonderful campaign film about one of our passions - Rivers!

This was a complex project that required not only film production, but a communication strategy and positioning. We needed to be mindful of risk, but also break new ground for our client to meet the campaign objectives.

With some beautiful illustration from @samuirhead , we created animated explainers and did visualisation work in house blending old school photoshop skills with AI capabilities.

.
But most of all, we have told a story that will engage, educate and build a vision of hope for one of Englands most unique water courses and everything that it provides to us. If you want to watch another film we made, search for “River Till Restoration” on YouTube.

Lots of new work to share. Starting here with @visitkielder launch of new trails at Deadwater, an iconic location within Kielder Forest. As this was a more technically challenging trail network, we wanted to make sure we built credibility with riding enthusiasts.

To do that, we brough in some help for this opening, with @adbrayton and @manoncarpenter experiencing Kielder in 24° heat and wall to wall blue skies. Adam got his Vlog online within 3 days of his visit, and helped show Kielder off to an audience that is otherwise hard to reach through traditional means of communication.

.
We sent out PR packs to the endemic media, and built an asset library for all the partners involved. Blending a package that met the needs of partners and the audience was a crucial part of our strategy.

.
With such an investment in these new trails, it’s been awesome to see the work @velosolutions_uk have done after all of Forestry Englands efforts to bring this area to life.

Filming in -5°C in the middle of a Scottish winter has its challenges, but it didn’t phase @coreywatson1 ❄️
Ice cold, rock-hard trails that needed a blow torch to work on, with cold hands and frozen ruts only adding to how dialed in his riding was.

A favourite outtake from our short for @bikeonscott - “From Dippy to Dagg” . A homage to the Coquet Valley - the place we and our ancestors call home - and how bikes, from Shepherds traversing vast landscapes on TL125’s to long-distance madman like @richrothwellcycling and all the downhill and enduro riders of modern times have quietly plied their trade.
One of those moments where “fix it in post” never sounded more annoying. 😂. @brendog1 with the optimism and way harder-than-it looks mid trail power wheelie.
