Neverland Reimagined
Stepping into this project felt like crossing the threshold into another world, one stitched from imagination, movement, and dreams. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of this journey, contributing in two realms: Costume Design and Set Design/Dressing.
This is my first-ever dance theatre showcase, and there was something truly magical about watching ideas take flight from sketches and fabrics, to spaces and textures, to the living, breathing poetry of dancers in motion. Every rehearsal, every fitting, every detail felt like building a universe together, piece by piece.
To my wonderful
@buat.benda teammates
@lupu5ka Khirul Adnin,
@terryweewee Terry Wee, and
@nrlfzhnaa Farzanah. A big thank you for walking through this creative world with me. Your spirit, generosity, and artistry made this process feel light, joyful, and deeply fulfilling. I couldn’t have asked for better companions on this adventure.
And I’m especially thankful for the chance to learn from
@so_jo_huang So Jo Huang, founder of SOJOCO, a visionary whose eye, heart, and craft continue to inspire me. Working with her reminded me why we create: to transform stories into sensations, and stages into places where wonder feels real.
Neverland may be imaginary, but the memories and discoveries from this process are very real — and I’ll be carrying them with me into every project to come.
