facing our truths can be scary, painful, and even heartbreaking. whether it’s been my complicity in white supremacy, genocide and the destruction of the environment or my own queerness…i have been truly terrified to face these truths.
but in the wreckage of my disillusion, and in the wholeness of my grief, i have found liberation, beauty and family. and there is power in this vulnerability…the power to build together clear eyed. and the power to heal.
