Sometimes we add 3 part harmony to songs that didn't originally have it. We're obligated to #honor , #respect , and play #homage to the #jamaican reggae #legends that came before us. It's almost impossible to explain the influence they've had on us, and the joy we've felt from their soul & craft. We did ok on this one. I promise we'll do better next time. There’s no one having more fun playing bass and singing than @normanbakermusic and I feel like the luckiest person to collab with him in any fashion, any time. This is what happens when you are in the crowd when he is performing, locked in the pocket and locked in the love of the music! This is a video I took of my long time friends and musical loves that is @firemarshallventura with @anthony_b_originalfireman . Fitting that I call Norm the #FireMarshall himself … backing #anthonyb the original fireman. Norm and his band of Seattle legends, not just in reggae and rocksteady yet in many other genres of music, come together May9th as the original cast of FMV gonna crush a set! With dancing goddess and vocals to blow you away is @chavam keeping the band cool and at ease at all times. @chrispoagemusic is a multi talented man stacked with style points, who is also from what I understand at the helm of recording lots of these songs with FMV and boy do they sound amazing! @evansjacoby just keeps on amazing me, seems he’s just got it yall, hire him, or don’t cause norm will kill me 😝… @jonathankimballmusic is an inspiration to me along with Chava, with vocals, this man has so much soul and his precision on guitar is golden. @leifdalan the piano man, guy that I study… still… if that doesn’t say enough about the man come see what I mean… dare you. I love playing with this band, on any instrument they’ll have me on…it is just as fun to watch and enjoy in their offerings of music and love, and some filthy pockets! @ponoranch May 9th this band is playing, original cast… and @superniceguysmusic is headlining yall… stupid lineup!
