A pretty surreal experience to sit in the industry’s biggest room and see this «gold guy» fall into the hands of our wonderful director.
Grateful to call what started as a hobby my profession, and for the people I get to do it with. Colleagues who are also friends 🙏 And especially to Kasper, thank you for sharing your heart and passion with me 🌱

“This video of Lisa (Best Girl) and me was our very first test back in the summer 2024. It’s easy to plan for pre-programmed lighting, but nothing really compares to the kind of randomness you create in the moment. We ended up using two Astera Titans, set to two pixels, which gave us exactly the look and exposure we were after.
“It may not be important, but as a small side note, the light was also moving with the clock. That felt natural to us and perhaps added a subtle sense of time passing to the sequence. We shot this throughout the production at different locations, and it was especially nice that Kasper put on the same music every time, it helped us find a consistent rhythm and brought the energy level way down. Those moments felt genuinely calm and peaceful.”

For this lighting setup they attached a Nanlite Pavoslim 240CL vertically to the outside of the train aimed through the window. Diffusion was placed horizontally above the window.
