I had the pleasure of attending this year’s El Centro’s “Future of Fashion” Show hosted by Prof. Emmanuel Tobias and my God…it was an amazing show.
Watching some of the students who started as LEVENITY interns walk their own collections down that runway was one of those moments I will always keep with me. These are not just students. They are designers. And the world is about to find out.
To see the vision, the craft, AND the confidence that they carried filled my heart in ways I cannot fully put into words. @distant___dreamer thanks for dedicating one of your looks from all that you’ve learned during the course of your internship. The model even had my Samba’s on ❤️.
@dcfashiondesign , thank you for creating the space where true emerging talent gets to be seen. This is what it looks like when you truly invest in the next generation.

It was a true honor to participate in this year’s @dedemcguirefoundation Women’s United Expo 2026 as a featured designer. To be invited into a space like that, curated with THAT much level of intention, is something I do not take lightly.
There are rooms you walk into and immediately know you were meant to be there. This was one of those rooms.

Ten years ago, at @fgidallas Student Competition I stood where @thomasscottdesigns is standing. I was the one receiving the Paris American Academy Sewing Couture award, dreaming about what could be.
And this year I had the honor of placing that same award in his hands.
Full circle has a sound to it. It feels a lot like grace.
And I have to say, every student who took that runway brought something undeniable. To every designer who showcased a look never..stop…dreaming.
Thank you to @parisamericanacademy for trusting me to stand in this moment on your behalf.
This table has held onto my doubts, prayers, frustrations, my many tears, but most of all….my faith.
Long nights. Early quiet mornings. Moments where I questioned everything and fearfully kept going anyway.
Every scar on it, is like a conversation I personally had between discipline and hope. Trusting them both over my own better judgement.
This table is where I return when the world gets too loud for me. I just dig deep into the dreams that are deeply rooted in thought and watch…as it “begins” to take true form into this reality.
I have to say plainly….
I love what I am capable of doing.
