For decades, the Brazilian scene has been gracing us with world-class drum ’n’ bass talent. One artist who’s been at the forefront of the movement ever since his 2009 debut on Liquid V is Pedro Lima, aka @level_2 .
Drawing on the vibrant heritage of his city, he developed a sound infused with influences from funk, reggae, and Bristol-style rollers that fitted perfectly with @djbryangee and @djjjfrost ’s vision for @planetvmusic . 💯
Later, teaming up with DJ Chap to create the first incarnation of @alibidnb revealed a whole new side of Level 2. Added to the raw, rolling style he’d become known for were new layers of emotion and anthemic hype, without ever abandoning that essential body-moving funk. Releases, including the monumental album Said & Done, on imprints such as the V family of labels, Hospital Records, CIA, and DARKMTTR, made Alibi a household name in DnB circles.
Ready for the next chapter, 2022 saw Pedro revive the Level 2 brand and deliver a slew of new solo material. He picked up right where he left off, creating some of his most popular tunes to date, including ‘Bite the Bone’, ‘Hot Foot’, ‘Bali Hai’, and the T.R.A.C.-laced ‘Soundboy Bash Up’. In many ways, this marks a return to the foundational V sound that first built his reputation, now sharpened by years of experience and musical development, opening up new angles and possibilities for exploration.

diferente na cena Drum and Bass onde grandes nomes ainda fazem história como Dj Marky, S.P.Y, Dj
Patife, Dj Andy e etc. Nascido e criado em São Paulo, Pedro Lima
a.k.a. Level 2 fez parte da segunda geração de produtores de D&B no Brasil junto com nomes como: Critycal Dub,L-Side, Dj Chap, Andrezz e muitos outros.
Conhecido pelo seu estilo Rolling e Deep, suas músicas tem poucos e efetivos elementos, que é a receita pra uma reação imediata quando tocada no club, e isso logo chamou a atenção de alguns
DJs pioneiros e respeitados da cena Inglesa como Bryan Gee e J.J. Frost.
Level 2 já coleciona alguns releases pela V Records desde 2009, algumas faixas fazem parte de
grandes compilações como FabricLive 65 mixado por Dj Hazard e a compilação Summer Selection do
D&B Arena, além de outras tantas lançadas pela própria Planet V.
Entre 2015 e 2022 fez parte do projeto Alibi, junto com seu amigo Dj Chap, onde acumulou uma
bagagem notável, sendo o Album 'Said and Done' um dos pontos altos dentro da sua jornada, além
de participações em alguns selos como Hospital, C.I.A, Flexout, Overview, Spearhead e Innerground.
Depois do Hiato de quase 8 anos, é tempo de voltar as suas origens e trazer novamente essa sonoridade, que somada à experiência acumulada durante esses mais de 10 anos de experiência, é a receita perfeita pra coisas novas e interessantes.
