Iām Levan Kvan. Visual Artist & Motion Designer.
My creative path follows two directions.
The first is collaboration. I partner with artists and brands to expand the boundaries of their work. Rather than changing the original vision, I add a new dimension of animationācreating high-end, functional pieces for galleries and digital spaces.
The second is personal. Through photo manipulation and prints, I explore my own visual reaction to reality. It is a quiet expression of how the outer world resonates within me.

āNow, itās a reality. Iām so stoked to share "Lunch at Grandmaās." The original painting was a commission for @highndrybar_ in Neutral Bay, and the brief was all about nostalgiaāthe kind of art youād find at your Nanās place, mixed with my own obsessions and memories from growing up.
āSeeing this elevated into motion by the brilliant @levankvan has been incredible. To be clear: this isn't AI. Itās meticulous digital animationāhand-layered and crafted to bring this dapper T-Rex to life. Levan exceeded every expectation, adding surprise elements that Iām still discovering.

For anyone wondering how the animation for Venus Envy (1999) was done by @levankvan , here is a process video of the very painstaking and meticulous selections and individual layering which were how the animation was achieved. Programs used were Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. Itās posted sideways in order to view the details more closely if you rotate your phones sideways.
