You know when you are warming up milk and the bottom of the pot caramelizes if you don’t stir… so it’s basically that to the extreme. It’s the mother of all creme caramel. It’s the french creme caramel before they made a technique to it. Here you actually burn the milk. Usually the Turkish serve it as is but I saw a rose petal jam and i remembered all the magnolia flowers we have on the tree, that’s how I came up with the dish.
