Para este post le dedico esta línea ^^^ a mis hermanas del alma @anamaria.sayre@mariacorinaramirez@anadop y Lina que lograron sorprenderme con una noche inolvidable en la Ciudad de México con mariachi y todo. 🇲🇽
Cuando les digo que tengo las mejores amigas en el planeta tierra, no exagero. Llegar a terminar proyectos como este álbum requiere un nivel de fe y perseverancia que aveces no nos permite ver cuándo es hora de celebrar lo que has logrado. Cuando llegue a Ciudad de México una semana antes del lanzamiento de #AmorQuienEres, venía de tanto corre corre que ni me había pasado por la mente tomar una pausa para celebrar lo que tomó llegar hasta aquí. Para eso están las amigas! Escuchamos todo el disco de principio a fin juntos en la sala, como en los viejos tiempos. Cantamos! Perreamos! Lloramos! Hablamos de las canciones en detalle y de que me tomo llegar a grabar cada un de ellas. Fue una experiencia que recordaré para toda la vida. Las amo nenas! Y aprovecho y agradezco a todos que están disfrutando el disco de esta manera - con su gente! ♥️
This last year has been one of the most challenging years of my life personally and completing this album has taken all of me, in more ways than I can put into words. Sometimes the drive that’s required to get to the finish is the very thing that doesn’t allow you to perceive when you’ve reached the finish line. That’s where I was when I landed in Mexico City about 2 weeks ago. I was there to celebrate the one and only @anamaria.sayre but somehow, in the midst of her birthday extravaganza week she and @mariacorinaramirez figured out a way to produce the most beautifully intimate listening celebration of my album behind my back. This may have been the first time it actually hit me that I completed an album that took me over 10 years to come around to making. We danced, we sang, we cried. Leave it to friends like mine to not let a moment pass by. I love you with all my heart my girls. Thank you for being the first to dance, sing, and cry to these songs from their demo stages. I’ll remember this one night in Mexico City forever and always. ♥️
