Introducing The Spiral Collection: the newest chapter in our study of form at the table, balancing classical structure with playful spontaneity. The spiral is a foundational motif that bridges the mathematical precision of nature with centuries of human art and design. This collection draws inspiration from the juxtaposition of stoic, classical architecture and the spontaneous, whimsical lines of a hand-drawn sketch. Each hand-sculpted spiral plate is crafted from porcelain and glazed in our signature soft cream at our workshop in Portugal. Designed to pair effortlessly with our Ribbon Collection. Our Women’s History Month issue and collection are live! What does it mean to create art as a woman? What aspects of our complex, multifaceted identities do we bring to the work, and how do they shape an artistic practice? These questions built like a mounting wall of curiosity that led to our 2026 Women’s History Month project: “From Her Hands.” We sent our roster of women artists a brief: create 1-3 objects that explore what it means to make art as a woman. We asked them to be vulnerable, to explore their inner world of femininity, and to create objects as complex as we are. Explore the project on lescollection.com
