This past year has been extremely difficult for me with the transition to college and I have found that when I get into a sticky situation or I am sad or even happy the one thing I find myself doing is playing my instrument. I play music to evoke emotion and speak/share my truth/story. I’m dedicating this post to everyone in this video who has personally touched/ changed my life. This is extremely hard for me to post because when I recorded this improv I was going through a very rough time and didn’t know where to turn to other than music. In the following months I will be writing music, and articles about my experiences. Although this will be very difficult and personal, this is my first step to speaking my truth.
