I'm excited to share that I'll be screening the rough cut of my short doc "The Line Between Us" at Rendezvous with Madness Mental Health Film Festival on October 30th.
"Over a single phone call, a son attempts to bridge the gap with his father after drifting apart, confronting love, loss and the fragile line that still connects them."
I began developing this film during my time in the If You Ask Me residency which I completed at LIFT this Summer. Special thanks to my lovely partner in crime and editor Kurtis Watson, as well as friends and family for your neverending support!

😱 Wow... I hit 10 years on T this year.
I wanted to share this to show the different forms I've taken, all of them necessary to get me to where I am today.
I'm so fortunate to have had access to gender affirming care. Especially today, when our most vulnerable are under attack by a mountain of anti-trans legislation.
Community is everything. I have so much gratitude in my heart for the friends who supported me in those early years. It means so much to have people who truly *get it*.
Today I'm holding space for the little kid who had enough hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel and the strength to carry me there.

Volunteering at @insideoutfestival was one of the highlights of my year so far! Truly an incredibly thoughtful, beautiful, and important festival that's been going on for 35 years!🌈
It's so important that we teach our kids about 2SLGBTQ+ people, communities, and their experiences because not only does it lead to a more educated, more diverse society, but it also could save lives.
It's through Inside Out that these stories are now being heard by the next generation of filmmakers, story tellers, and artists, many of whom are just figuring out who they are. This festival makes them feel seen and heard and gives them inspiration to make decisions in their own life and work.
Ultimately there's no better way to learn about 2SLGBTQ+ experiences and what matters to them than from the people who were actually there.
Congrats to all the filmmakers and storytellers, you inspire the heck out of me.
Maybe next year @leodeanart and I will have a film at the festival😏🤞
To all the people I met and got to hangout with at Inside Out, y'all are the best and I cant wait to talk, work, and watch more films with you in the near future. ❤️🙌💥

Here's the entire character package for my reimagined Homeric Hymn to Demeter 📜
🌙Hecate isn't given enough credit for her badassery and I wanted to adapt a story with her at the center. I saw some parallels to this myth and the attitudes of the 70s so it felt fitting to blend the two! I made sure to keep the original likeness of the Gods by using symbolism in their designs (peak Persephone's pomegranate shaped hair, or Hade's skull shaped key!)
✨️Cool Facts about Hecate
🌀She loves animals and is often depicted with a pack of dogs!
🌀She's a Liminal Goddess which means she exists between Life and Death
🌀She was associated with Eleusinian Mysteries, a secret cult that involved an initiation ritual and promises of a better life

Animation always made the most sense, but for many reasons it never seemed viable. At 25 I made the very scary leap to return to school, and I'm so glad I did.
It hasn't been easy but I'm halfway through my 2nd year now and I am so greatful for everything and everyone that has supported me to get this point. While I am uncertain of what the future holds for me I am excited beyond words to be able to pursue my childhood dream.

PCRF is a non-profit that addresses the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian children in the Middle East by sending medical equipment, supplies, and American medical personnel to the region to treat difficult cases and train Palestinian surgeons. They also operate a mental health program in Gaza.
Today is International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people. Buy a couple of our prints and help us reach our fundraiser goal of $800. Donate as much or as little as you would like. Incase you didn't see my previous post, in August I travelled to California to meet my best friend for the first time in real life to be the best man at his wedding. Kurtis filmed the whole journey and made it into a short film. I'm forever greatful for it, we'll remember this trip for a lifetime.
In less than 1 hour I will be boarding a plane from Toronto to Los Angeles to meet my online friend River of 15 years for the first time EVER. We met on a collaborative drawing site when I was 10 and he was 14 and have been best friends ever since.
We've shared thousands of hours together laughing, gaming, and drawing together. He's been there for me in both my highest and lowest moments and knows me better than anyone.
I've been invited to attend his wedding as his best man and we'll be spending the next week together doing all the things we always dreamed of doing but couldn't because of the long distance. I can't wait! 😄
